Սըր Մարտին Ֆրոբիշեր (անգլ.՝ Martin Frobisher, 1535[1][2][3][…], Altofts, Normanton, Wakefield, Արևմտյան Յորքշիր, Միացյալ Թագավորություն - նոյեմբերի 15, 1594(1594-11-15)[4], Պլիմուտ, Դևոն, Անգլիա), անգլիացի ծովագնաց և զինվորական, ով 1576, 1577 և 1578 թվականներին երեք նավարկություն է իրականացրել դեպի Հյուսիսային Ամերիկա՝ ապարդյուն որոնելով հյուսիսարևմտյան անցումը դեպի Չինաստանի ու Հնդկաստանի հեքիաթային հարստությունները։ Այդ ընթացքում հետազոտել է Գրենլանդիայի, Բաֆինի կղզու ափերը, Հուդզոնի նեղուցը, այն ծովածոցը, որը հետագայում կոչվել է իր անունով։ 1576 թ. նավարկությունից վերադարձել է իր կարծած ոսկու մեծ պաշարով, սաայն պարզվել է, որ բերածն ընդամենը պիրիտ է, մեր օրերի բնորոշմամբ՝ «հիմարների ոսկի»[5]։ Առաջին նավարկության ֆինանսավորումն ստանալու վրա ծախսել է հինգ տարի, «Մոսկովիա» անգլիական ընկերության տնօրեն Մայքլ Լոկի օգնությամբ ձեռք բերել անհրաժեշտ միջոցները, նախապատրաստել երեք նավ՝ ընդհանուր առմամբ 35 մարդուց բաղկացած անձնակազմով[6]։
Ֆրոբիշերը մասնակցել է նաև դեպի Հյուսիսային Ամերիկա Ֆրենսիս Դրեյքի կազմակերպած ծովահենային արշավանքին (1585 թ.), Անհաղթ արմադայի դեմ մղված մարտերին (1588 թ.): Բրետան թերակղզու Կրոզոն բերդի համար իսպանացիների դեմ կռվելիս ծանր վիրավորվել է։ Նրան տեղափոխել են հայրենի Պլիմուտ, որտեղ էլ կարճ ժամանակ անց կնքել է իր մահկանացուն։
Մարտերում աչքի ընկնելու համար Մարտին Ֆրոբիշերն ասպետ էր օծվել, արժանացել ազնվականական տիտղոսի։ Նրան վստահվել էր ոչ միայն ֆլագմանական նավերի, այլև էսկադրայի, տորմիղի հրամանատարի պաշտոնը։
