Փուփուլավոր ճուռակ^[1] (լատին․՝ Accipiter trivirgatus) Ճուռակների ընտանիքի գիշատիչ թռչուն, որը լայնորեն տարածված է Ասիայում^[2]։

Բնութագիր[խմբագրել | խմբագրել կոդը]

Փուփուլավոր ճուռակն ունի կարճ ու լայն թևեր և երկար պոչ^[1]։ Այս թռչունն ունի 30-46 սմ երկարություն։ Էգ թռչուններն ավելի մեծ են, քան՝ արուները։ Թռչնի առանձնահատկությունը կարճ սանրն է։

Արուները ունեն մուգ շագանակագույն գունավորում։ Էգ թռչունը արուից տարբերվում է նրանով, որ էգի մարմնի միայն ստորին մասն է շագանակագույն^[3]։

Կենսակերպ և տարածվածություն[խմբագրել | խմբագրել կոդը]

Փոփուլավոր ճուռակը տարածված է Ասիայի հարավում, մասնավորապես Հնդկաստանում, Շրի Լանկայում, Չինաստանի հյուսիսում, Ինդոնեզիայում և Ֆիլիպիններում^[4]։ Այդ թռչունն ապրում է ցածրադիր գոտիներում՝ նախընտրելով արևադարձային և մերձարևադարձային տաք շրջանները^[5]։

Այս անտառային թռչունը հարձակվում է անտառապատ տարածքում գտնվող փոքր թռչունների, կաթնասունների և սողունների վրա՝ անակնկալի բերելով նրանց^[6]։ Այս թռչունը բնադրում է ծառերի վրա և երկու կամ երեք ձու է դնում^[7]։
