Battle Studies, ամերիկացի ռոք երաժիշտ Ջոն Մեյերի չորրորդ ստուդիական ալբոմը, որը թողարկվել է 2009 թվականի նոյեմբերի 17-ին Columbia Records լեյբլում։ Համապրոդյուսերները եղել են Ջոն Մեյերն ու Սթիվ Ջորդանը։ Սկավառակն զբաղեցրել է ամերիկյան Billboard 200 հիթ-շքերթի առաջին հորիզոնականին և առաջադրվել «Գրեմմի» մրցանակի Լավագույն վոկալային փոփ-ալբոմ անվանակարգում։

Դեռ թողարկվելուց առաջ ալբոմն արժանացել է դրական և միջին արձագանքների երաժշտական քննադատների և առցանց հրատարակությունների կողմից (ընդհանուր՝ 64/100 Metacritic կայքից)[11], ինչպիսիք են՝ Mojo[6], Allmusic[1], The Boston Globe[12], Hot Press[13], Sputnikmusic[10], Entertainment Weekly[2], Robert Christgau (MSN Music)[14], The Independent[4], Los Angeles Times[5], Chicago Sun-Times[15], The Guardian[3], The Village Voice[16], The New York Times[17], USA Today[18]։

Ալբոմն ամերիկյան Billboard 200 հիթ-շքերթում նորամուտը կատարել է առաջին հորիզոնականում՝ թողարկման առաջին շաբաթում ունենալով 286 000 օրինակի վաճառք[19]։ Երկրորդ շաբաթում վաճառվել է ալբոմի ևս 93 000 օրինակ[20]։ Մինչ 2010 թվականի ապրիլ ընդհանուր տպաքանակը կազմել է 880 000 պատճեն Միացյալ Նահանգներում[21]։ 2010 թվականի հուլիսի 29-ին Battle Studies ալբոմն ավելի քան 1 մլն օրինակ տպաքանակով հավաստագրվել է պլատինե կարգավիճակով Ձայնագրող ընկերությունների ամերիկյան ասոցիացիայի (անգլ.՝ Recording Industry Association of America) կողմից[22]։
