Անգլո-ամերիկյան պատերազմ 1812-1815, (անգլ.՝ War of 1812) զինված հակամարտություն Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների և Միացյալ Թագավորության միջև Նապոլեոնյան պատերազմներին զուգընթաց։

Նապոլեոնյան Ֆրանսիայի դեմ պատերազմ սկսելուց անմիջապես հետո Բրիտանիան ձեռնամուխ եղավ Ֆրանսիայի ծովային ուղիների շրջափակմանը` կանխելով չեզոք երկրների հետ առևտուրը, ինչը Միացյալ Նահանգները համարեց միջազգային իրավունքի խախտում։ Շրջափակումը կազմակերպելու համար Բրիտանիան ներգրավեց ամերիկացի նավաստիներին Արքայական նավատորմ։ Մինչև պատերազմը բազմակի ծովային պատահարները ԱՄՆ-ի և Բրիտանիայի միջև ազդեցություն ունեցան ԱՄՆ-ում հակաբրիտանական տրամադրվածության վրա։ ^[2]^[3]։ Բրիտանիան սատարում էր բնիկ ամերիկացիներին, որոնք ասպատակում էին ամերիկյան բնակավայրերը^[4]։ Պատմաբանների մի մասը կարծում է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից պատերազմ հայտարարելու նպատակն էր Բրիտանական Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի (ներկայիս Կանադա) նվաճումը։ 1812 թվականի հունիսի 18-ին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջեյմս Մեդիսոնը Կոնգրեսի մեծամասնության ճնշման ներքո ստորագերց Բրիտանիային պատերազմ հայտարարելու մասին հռչակագիրը^[5]։

Քանի որ Բրիտանացիների զինված ուժերի մեծ մասը Եվրոպայում կռվում էր Նապոլեոն Բոնապարտի դեմ, Բրիտանիան հաստատեց պաշտպանողական մարտավարություն, որը սահմանափակվում էր սահմանագծով և արևմտյան ճակատով։ Ամերիկայի պատերազմ հայտարարելը ժողովրդականություն չէր վայելում, հատկապես Նոր Անգլիայում, որտեղ այն անվանում էին «Պրն. Մեդիսոնի պատերազմ»։ Ամերիկյան պարտությունները Դետրոյթի պաշարումում և Քուինսթոն բարձունքի ճակատամարտում ի չիքս դարձրեցին Վերին Կանադան գրավելու ամերիկացիների փորձերը և բարձրացրեցին բրիտանացիների բարոյահոգեբանական վիճակը։ 1813 թվականին ամերիկացիները հաղթեցին Էրի լճի ճակատամարտում` իրենց վերահսկողության տակ առնելով լիճը և Թեմսի ճակատամարտում Տեկումսեի կոնֆեդերացիայի նկատմամբ։ Ամերիկացիների գլխավոր փորձը ներխուժել Կանադա տեղի ունեցավ Լանդիս-Լեյնի ճակատամարտում 1814 թվականի ամռանը։ Ծովում հզոր Արքայական նավատորմը շրջափակեց ամերիկյան նավահանգիստները` փակելով առևտրի ուղիները և թույլ տալով բրիտանացիներին հարձակվել առափնյա բնակավայրերի վրա։ 1814 թվականին այս հարձակումներից մեկում այրվեց մայրաքաղաք Վաշինգթոնը, սակայն ամերիկացիները կարողացան կանգնեցնել բրիտանացիներին և թույլ չտվեցին ներխուժել Նյու Յորք և Մերիլենդ` վերջ դնեոլվ Կանադայից դեպի ԱՄՆ-ի միջատլանտյան տարածաշրջան ներխուժումներին^[6]։

Կռիվներ տեղի ունեցան նաև Ատլանտյան և Խաղաղ օվկիանոսներում։ Հարևան Իսպանական Ֆլորիդայում երկօրյա ճակատամարտը Պենսակոլայում ավարտվեց իսպանացիների պարտությամբ^[7]։

Բրիտանիայում ահռելի չափերի հասավ պատերազմական նպատակներով բարձր հարկերի ընդդիմադիրերի թիվը, որոնք պահանջում էին նաև վերաբացել առևտուրը ԱՄՆ-ի հետ։ Երբ գահընկեց եղավ Նապոլեոնը, Ֆրանսիայի հետ պատերազմն ավարտվեց և Բրիտանիան կետնրոնացավ Ամերիկայի վրա։ Բրիտանիան ի վիճակի էր շրջափակել ԱՄՆ-ի ողջ ափամերձ հատվածը, սակայն ԱՄՆ ներխուժման փորձերը անհաջող էին, որից հետո Բրիտանիան սկսեց հաշտության քննարկումների առաջարկներ անել^[8]։

Հաշտության քննարկումներն սկսեցին 1814 թվականի օգոստոսին և Գենտի պայմանագիրը կնքվեց դեկտեմբերի 24-ին։ Խաղաղության մասին նորությունները Ամերիկա հասան երկար ժամանակ անց։ Չիմանալով պայմանագրի մասին Բրիտանական ուժերը ներխուժեցին Լուիզիանա և պարտություն կրեցին Նոր Օռլեան ճակատամարտում 1815 թվականի հունվարին։ Պայմանագրի մասին նորությունը հասավ ճակատամարտից շատ չանցած և ռազմական գործողությունները դադարեցին։ Պայմանագիրը վավերացրեց Սենատը 1815 թվականի փետրվարի 17-ին` ավարտելով պատերազմը առանց սահմանային փոփոխությունների^[9]։

19-րդ դարի առաջին կեսերին Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները և Կանադան գտնվում էին Միացյալ Թագավորության տիրապետության տակ։ Անգլիացիները փորձում էին մեկուսացնել այս երկու ինքնավար շրջաններին և փակել նրանց առևտրական կապերը։

Հերթական անգամ Անգլիան վերցրեց ամերիկյան նավատորմի նավերը ֆրանս-ամերիկյան առևտրային հարաբերությունները խափանելու նպատակով։ Ամերիկյան կոնգրեսում որոշվում է պատերազմ սկսել Միացյալ Թագավորության դեմ։ Այս քայլին դիմելով ԱՄՆ-ն նպատակ ուներ ինդլայնել իր տարածքները Կանադայի և Ֆլորիդայի հաշվին։ Բացի այդ ազատագրել Կանադան և ԱՄՆ-ն «Բրիտանական լծից» և պաշտպանել նախագահ Թոմաս Ջեֆերսոնին և փոխնախագահ Ջեյմս Մադիսոնին։

Այս որոշումների հիման վրա 1812 թվականի հունիսին պատերազմ հայտարարեց Միացյալ Թագավորությանը։
