Սթենդ ափ կատակերգություն (անգլ.՝ Stand-up comedy), զավեշտական ոճ, որում կոմիկը հանդես է գալիս կենդանի լսարանի առջև, սովորաբար դիմելով ուղղակիորեն հանդիսատեսին[1]։ Ելույթ ունեցողին սովորաբար անվանում են կոմիկ, կատակերգու, սթենդ ափ կոմիկ, սթենդ ափ կատակերգու, կոմեդիանտ կամ սթենդափեր[2]։ Կոմեդիանտները պատրանք են ստեղծում, որ երկխոսություն են վարում, բայց իրականում մենախոսում են հումորային պատմություններով և կատակներով[9]։ Որոշ սթենդ ափ կոմիկներ տարբեր բեմիրեր, երաժշտություն կամ հնարքներ են օգտագործում իրենց ելույթները բարելավելու համար[10]։ Սթենդափ կատակերգությունը համարվում է «կատակերգություն գրելու ամենաազատ ձևը»[19]։

Սթենդ ափ կատակերգության մեջ հումորի հիմնական տեսակներից են դիտողական կատակերգությունը, կապույտ կատակերգությունը, սև կատակերգությունը, մաքուր կատակերգությունը և քծնական կատակերգությունը։ Այլընտրանքային սթենդ ափ կատակերգությունը շեղվում է ավանդական, մեյնսթրիմ կատակերգությունից, կամ խախտելով կատակների կառուցվածքը՝ ելույթ ունենալով ոչ ավանդական բեմի վրա, կամ խախտելով հանդիսատեսի ակնկալիքները։ Այս տեսակի կատակերգության ժամանակ հնարավոր է նաև հակա-կատակների օգտագործումը։

Սթենդափ կատակերգությունը հաճախ կատարվում է կորպորատիվ միջոցառումների ժամանակ, կատակերգական ակումբներում, բարերում և փաբերում, գիշերային ակումբներում, նեո-բուռլեսկներում, քոլեջներում և թատրոններում (թատրոններում արտիստները հանդիսատեսի կողմից ավելի բուռն ծափահարությունների են արժանանում[20])[21]: Բացի կենդանի ելույթներից, սթենդ ափը կարող է նաև տեղայնացվել հեռուստատեսության, DVD-ի, CD-ի և համացանցի միջոցով[2][22]։

Սիրող կոմիկին կարող է երկար ժամանակ պահանջվել, որպեսզի նա կատարելագործի այն տեխնիկան, որն անհրաժեշտ է պրոֆեսիոնալ կոմիկ դառնալու համար[23][24][25]․ սա շարունակական ուսուցման գործընթաց է ձախողման միջոցով[26][27][28]։

Սթենդ ափ կոմիկները սովորաբար հանդես են գալիս կանգնած, թեև դա պարտադիր չէ։ Նման ելույթները, որտեղ կատակերգուն նստած է, կարող են անվանվել «սիթ դաուն կատակերգություն»։
