Հնդկական ազգային բանակ, (հինդի՝ आज़ाद हिन्द फ़ौज), մինչճապոնական «հնդկական կառավարության» զինված ուժեր[1], որոնք ստեղծվել են 1942 թվականին Սինգապուրում հնդկական ծագման ռազմագերիներից և ուղարկվել Բիրմայի ճակատ[2]։ Զինված ուժերի հրամանատար է նշանակվել Մոհան Սինգհը։

Բանակը ճակատամարտերում շուտով ջախջախվում է և 1943 թվականին վերստեղծվում։ Հրամանատարն է նշանակվում վարչապետ Սուբհաս Չանդրա Բոսը, բայց իրականում ռազմական գործողությունները ղեկավարում էին գեներալ Շահ Նավազ Խանը, գնդապետներ Պրեմ Սեհգալը և Գուրբակշ Սինգհ Դիլոնը։

1943 թվականի փետրվարի 15-ին Հնդկական ազգային բանակը վերստեղծվել է փոխգնդապետ Մուհամեդ Կիաննիի հրամանատարությամբ։ 1943 թվականի հուլիսի 4-ին գերագույն հրամանատարն է դարձել Սուբհաս Չանդրա Բոսը։ Այդ ժամանակ բանակի քանակը կազմում էր մոտավորապես 12 հազար զինվոր։ 4 գնդերի կազմում կազմավորվում է առաջին դիվիզիան։

Հնդկական ազգային բանակի հիմնը եղել է Qadam Qadam Badaye Ja երգը (հինդի՝ क़दम क़दम बढ़ाये जा), որի տեքստը գրել էր Վանշիդհարա Շուկլան, դրա վրա հիմնված ռազմերթը ստեղծել է կոմպոզիտոր և Հնդկաստանի անկախության մարտիկ Ռամ Սինգհ Թակուրին[3]։
