English: Armenian memorial unveiled The Armenian cross on the monument to the genocide, unveiled November 2nd 2007. Many Armenians and people of Armenian descent gathered to witness and record this first official recognition of the events of 1915.
On January 28th 2008 (HolocaustDay) the monument was vandalised when a hammer was used to destroy the cross. |
