BIOGRAPHY

Karen Grigoryan (Kavin Grig) was born in Yerevan, Armenia on March 14,1984.

In 1991 he entered school # 46. Then he continued his education in college “Quant”. After finishing the college in 2001, he entered the State University of Yerevan at the department of theology. Soon he decided to continue his education at the faculty of international relations of the department of political sciences.

In 2005 he successfully graduated from the University.

Karen Grigoryan has a number of educational certificates and prizes not only in Armenia, but also in different countries. Since now he continues his professional education in different institutions.

In 1992 he entered the musical school named after A. Tigranyan at the violin department and in 1998 he finished it.

From 2005 to 2007 Karen Grigoryan served in the Armenian Army and had a business trip in the Military Prosecutor’s Department.

Returning from the army his artistic career began to prosper.

Karen Grigoryan managed to travel a lot during his youth and being impressed by culture of different nations has taken all the beautiful and valuable things using them in his own art.

As a composer he has released 3 albums ("Emotions", "White Illusions", "Deaf Seperation"). He has had 6 concerts in different countries (at the Aram Khachaturyan Hall of the Opera House, Yerevan, Armenia, The Royal Festival Hall, London, UK, AGBU Hall, Aleppo, Syria and so on.)

As a ghraphic artist and photographer he has orgnised more than 11 solo exhibitions for his own and participated in few group exhibitions in different countries (Armenia, Russia, UK, Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Italy, Germany).

In 2007 he has produced and directed a short-length film “Angels on the roofs” dedicated to March Chagall.
