Cobweb Art
[խմբագրել | խմբագրել կոդը]Cobweb art is an art which creates different pictures of cobweb. The main material of the works is the cobweb which the artist collects and processes in a special way.
History
[խմբագրել | խմբագրել կոդը]The origin of cobweb painting is difficult to verify, but most academic journals agree that the practice began in a remote valley of the Austrian Tyrolean Alps during the 16th century[1] . Less than 100 known cobweb paintings still exist today, most of which are housed in private collections [2] .
One painting depicts Phillipine Welser (1527-1580), a celebrated beauty who secretly married Archduke Ferdinand II of Tyrol and settled near Innsbruck in Schloss Ambras. The other portrays an anonymous Tyrolean peasant .
Cobweb Art
[խմբագրել | խմբագրել կոդը]But after 500 years in the 21st century artist[3] Andranik Avetisyan[4] has been creating not the canvas of the cobweb[5] on which can be painted, but he is the first who has been creating the pictures of the cobweb in the world.
He noticed a cobweb in the corner of the window in his studio[6].Then he had the idea to create a picture[7] of a cobweb,and began to study the life of spiders, and the structure[8] of their cobwebs. Afterwards, he began to breed spiders in order to use their cobwebs to create[9] pictures. Avetisyan's works[10] are made of real cobweb[11] and this brought him fame almost instantly. He is the first artist[12] who uses cobwebs for pictures.Andranik Avetisyan[13] was awarded the " New Talent and Creative Thought "[14][15] prize at the Cannes International Exhibition of Modern Art, which was held from 23 to 26 September 1917.
