Nareklm, the Armenian Wikipedia is supposed to be in Armenian as opposed to in English transliterated in the Armenian alphabet. And the names of the articles should be in proper Armenian as well. --Teak 03:35, 20 Դեկտեմբեր 2006 (UTC)

Hi Narek, glad to see you've started contributing in Armenian. Way to go! Wanted to just let you know that "հնդկահավ" is Armenian for the bird "turkey", the country Turkey would be "Թուրքիա". Also the {{զարգացնել}} template is indeed in some sense equivalent to the stub template (the word "զարգացնել" means "to develop", i.e. the article is tagged as needing development), though the {{stub}} is being used on this wiki as well. - Nareklm, the possessive form of Armenian nouns are usually formed by appropriate suffixation, e.g. "of Armenia" (in the sense of belonging) in Armenian would be "Հայաստանի". The grammatical articles in Armenian are also formed by suffixation, while the base form of the noun is usually in the "indefinite" form, the definite is usually formed by adding the suffix "ը". Compare "գետ" (a river) to "գետը" (the river). So in Armenian it's not as straightforward as in English, and sometimes the literal translation is not grammatically correct, but sooner or later people will notice and copy-edit the inaccuracies, so don't be discouraged, after all this is a collaborative project. good luck - Teak 02:36, 29 Հունվար 2007 (UTC)
