Ինստրուկցիա

Հայերեն Վիքիպեդիայում բոտ գործածելու համար անհրաժեշտ է բոտի կարգավիճակ ստանալ օգտագործվող բոտի համար։ Այստեղ դուք կարող եք (ձեր) բոտի կարգավիճակի դիմում ներկայացնել։ Այստեղ են նաև ընդունվում բոտի կարգավիճակի զրկման դիմումները այն բոտերի համար, որոնք չեն գործածվում կամ գործածվում ընդունված կարգին հակառակ։

Հայերեն Վիքիպեդիայի բոտերի կիրառության վերաբերյալ քաղաքականության համար խնդրում ենք այցելել բոտերին նվիրված էջը։

Յուրաքանչյուր գրանցված մասնակից կարող է մասնակցել դիմումի քննարկմանն ու կարգավիճակ տալու քվեարկմանը։ Քվեարկելու համար խնդրում ենք ավելացնել '''Կողմ''' կամ '''Դեմ''' քվեարկման համապատասխան մասում և, ցանկության դեպքում կարծիք հայտնելուց հետո, դնել ձեր ստորագրությունը՝ ~~~~:

Քվեարկությունը տևում է 7 օր, որից հետո 60%-ից ավել կողմ ձայներ ստացած բոտին տրվում է բոտի կարգավիճակ, հակառակ դեպում՝ բոտին արգելվում է խմբագրումներ կատարել հայերեն Վիքիպեդիայում։ Քվեարկությունը չանցած բոտերի օգտագործման թույլտվության ստանալու համար դիմում կարելի է ներկայացնել ոչ շուտ քան մեկ շաբաթ անց։

  • Դեմ - I'm all for changing Category, Image, File, Redirect to their Armenian equivalents, and thankfull for that. Buf I really doubt about adding spaces in headings․ In style guid, I see that spaces are optional, and there are some bots removing spaces. The new editor, again intentionally trims spaces out of headings, if you try to select a word padded with spaces. And if they don't do that, servers will have to do that, brefore genrating HTML for visitors, as valid HTML format is <code><h2>Heading</h2></code> and not <code><h2> Heading </h2></code>. So it's tiny, but additional and unnecessary workload for the servers. The only reason I found on the net, for adding spaces near equation marks, are spell-checking concerns, but in both Firefox 3.6 with hunspell dicts, and in Opera 10 aspell dicts, spell checking works fine without spaces, so that can't be a reason. Taking in account all that, I oppose having bot, which will add spaces. Please provide some info/sources giving reasons for adding spaces in headings, and I'll change my vote, as that's my only, still serious concern (as we dont' need bot wars, with some adding, and others removing spaces) or change this fucintion to trim spaces out, and not add them. In it's contrib diffs, [2], [3] [4] [5] [6] and when Chaojoker above asked if your bot does this, you've confirmed it, so I'm surprised with your question. Another thing, in examples mentioned above, it will add spaces in some heading, and leave others untouched. Why so? Also I can see that it adds spaces in lists, and closes br tags. It's great that it closes tags, and I'm not that sure about adding spaces before asterisks and pounds in lists. But once again, can you describe somewhere all the edits it does, at this moment, as again above you said that it's only about sorting iw, translating cat and image namespaces, and adding spaces in headers, now it comes it does other things as well :) --Ալեքսեյ a.k.a. My bot needs a bot flag to maintain the interwiki links of the Armenian Wikipedia. Here are the edits performed by the bot: [7], [8]. It works in <automatic> regime. I have run the bot from Bebruary 5 to Bebruary 15, and it didnt create any problems. I assume full responsibility of every act of my bot on this project.

This bot runs interwiki.py using the -autonomous and -hint:en functions. This means that it looks if the page exists on the English Wikipedia, and if it does, it checks the interwiki links on the English Wikipedia. I have it run through the list of articles on the Simple English Wikipedia. The link to a list of Wikipedias that my bot edits, along with its' full edit counts for each of those Wikipedias are at simple:User:Darkicebot/Status. Thank you for your time!

Notes

Ever since the last request for bot status that I made on this Wikipedia, I have studied your local policy as well as the bot policies for every Wikipedia and I believe that I have mastered the policies that are relevant towards running a bot on this Wikipedia. My bot has gotten the global bot flag and I have been very helpful when it comes towards solving issues with my bot over all Wikipedias.
