Նոբելյան հիմնադրամ (շվեդ.՝ Nobelstiftelsen), մասնավոր հաստատություն, հիմնվել է 1900 թվականի հունիսի 29-ին՝ Նոբելյան մրցանակների ֆինանսական և վարչական կառավարման համար:[1] Հիմնադրամը հիմնված է դինամիտի հայտնագործող Ալֆրեդ Նոբելի կտակի վրա:[2]
Պատմություն
Ալֆրեդ Բերնարդ Նոբել ծնվել է 1833 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 21-ին Ստոկհոլմում: Քիմիկոս, ինժիներ, գյուտարար: Bofors ընկերության սեփականատերը: Նոբելի է պատկանում 355 տարբեր արտոնագրեր, որոնցից ամենահայտնին դինամիտն է: Նոբելը իր կյանքի ընթացքում կուտակել է զգալի քանակությամբ հարստություն հիմնականում այս հայտնագործությունների շնորիվ[3]: 1896 թվականին Նոբելը մահանում է կաթվածից[4] Իտալական Սան Ռեմո կոմունայի իր վիլլայում, որտեղ նա ապրել էի իր կյանքի վերջին տարիները[5][6][7]:
