Շոտլանդերենը Գերմանական լեզուների լեզվախմբին պատկանող բնական լեզու է, որն ավանդաբար գործածվում է Հովտային Շոտլանդիայում, Շոտլանդիայում և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Ալստեր գավառի որոշ մասերում։ Այն երբեմն կոչվում է նաև Հովտային շոտլանդերեն շոտլանդական գյէլերենի և քելտերենի տարբերակներից զանազանելու համար, որոնք գործածվում են Լեռնային Շոտլանդիայում և Հեբրիդեսում։
