Բաղդադ (արաբ․՝ بغداد‎‎), Իրաքի մայրաքաղաքը։ Բաղդադի բնակչությունը 2016 թվականի տվյալներով կազմում է մոտավորապես 8,765,000 մարդ[note 1], որով այն Իրաքի խոշորագույն քաղաքն է, Արաբական աշխարհի երկրորդ քաղաքը Կահիրեից հետո և Թեհրանից հետո երկրորդը Արևմտյան Ասիայում։

Բաղդադը գտնվում է Տիգրիս գետի ափին։ Հիմնադրվել է 8-րդ դարում որպես Աբբասյան խալիֆայության մայրաքաղաք։ Միջնադարում Բաղդադը դարձել է Իսլամության կենտրոնը և աշխարհի խոշորագույն քաղաքը 1,200,000 բնակչությամբ։ Սակայն Բաղդադը մեծապես տուժեց 1258 թվականին մոնղոլների գրավման հետևանքով։
