Մեքսիկայի անկախության պատերազմ կամ Մեքսիկացի ժողովրդի ազգային-ազատագրական պայքարը անկախության համար, զինված հակամարտություն Մեքսիկայի ժողովրդի և Հարավային Ամերիկայի գաղութատեր Իսպանիայի միջև։ Սակայն պատերազմին մասնակցում էին նաև Հարավային Ամերիկայի գրեթե բոլոր իսպանական գաղութները՝ որպես Մեքսիկայի դաշնակից։
Հակամարտությունը սկսվել է 1810 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 16-ին գյուղացիական անկարգություններով և վերածվել հակաիսպանական համաժողովրդական շարժման։ Պատերազմի կարևոր նախադրյալներից մեկը այն է, որ Նապոլեոն Բոնապարտը իսպանա-ֆրանսիական պատերազմի (1808-1814) շրջանակներում ներխուժում է Իսպանիա: Այս իրադարձություններում Եվրոպայում սկսվում է Ֆրանսիական հեղափոխությունը (1789-1794), իսկ Ամերիկայում ամերիկյան հեղափոխական պատերազմը (1775-1783)։
Արդյունքում օգտվելով Իսպանիայում ստեղծված իրադրությունից 1822 թվականին Մեքսիական իրեն հռչակում է Իսպանիայից անկախ պետություն։
