Հարություն Գրիգորի Արմենյան (Յարութիւն Գրիգոր Արմէնեան, անգլ.՝ Haroutune Armenian, հունիսի 18, 1942(1942-06-18), Բեյրութ, Լիբանան), հայ բժիշկ, հանրային առողջապահության դոկտոր (1974), պրոֆեսոր։ Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի նախագահ (1997- 2009)։ Բեյրութի, Բալթիմորի Ջոնս Հոփքինսի համալսարանի համաճարակաբանության ամբիոնի պրոֆեսոր, 1994 թվականից՝ Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի առողջապահական գիտությունների հետազոտման ու զարգացման կենտրոնի տնօրեն։

1989 թվականին Արմենյանի նախաձեռնությամբ ՀՀ-ում իրականացվել է հետերկրաշարժյան ժամանակահատվածի համաճարակաբանական հետազոտություններ, ուսումնասիրվել մանկական մահացությունը։ Մեղրիկյանների նվիրատվությամբ 1999 թվականին Երևանում հիմնադրել է Կ. Մեղրիկյանի անվան կանխարգելիչ ակնաբուժության ինստիտուտը։ Զբաղվել է նաև պարբերական հիվանդության հարցերով։

1988-2002 թվականներին եղել է «Հոդվածներ համաճարակաբանության ոլորտում» պարբերականի գլխավոր խմբագիրը, 1981-1986 թվականներին՝ համազգային կրթական միության կենտրոնական գործադիր վարչության, 1980-1982 թվականներին՝ Հայ բժիշկների լիբանանյան միության գործադիր անդամ։ 1996-2002 թվականներին եղել է համաշխարհային համաճարակաբանության ընկերակցության ընդհանուր քարտուղարը։ 1995 թվականից Հայաստանի հասարակական առողջապահության միության պատվավոր նախագահն է։

Կենսագրություն

Հարություն Արմենյանը ծնվել է 1942 թվականին Բեյրութում։ Ավարտել է Բեյրութի Համազգայինի Նշան Փալանճյան ճեմարանը։ Ապա սովորել է Բեյրութի ամերիկյան համալսարանում՝ 1964 թվականին ստանալով բակալավրի, 1968 թվականին՝ բժշկագիտության դոկտորի աստիճան։ Այնուհետև ուսումը շարունակել է Բալթիմորի Ջոնս Հոփքինսի համալսարանում, որտեղից 1971 թվականին ստացել է հանրային առողջապահության մագիստրոսի աստիճան։ 1974 թվականին նույն համալսարանում պաշտպանել է դոկտորական ատենախոսություն հանրային առողջապահության բնագավառում։ Հարություն Արմենյանը 1974 թվականից դասախոսել է Բեյրութի ամերիկյան համալսարանում որպես համաճարակաբանության ասիստենտ-պրոֆեսոր, 1979-1984 թվականներին՝ որպես կրտսեր պրոֆեսոր, 1984 թվականից՝ պրոֆեսոր։ 1981-1983 թվականներին եղել է այդ համալսարանի Առողջապահական գիտությունների բաժնի դեկանի պաշտոնակատար, 1983-1988 թվականներին՝ դեկանը։ Դեռևս ութսունական թվականներից սկսել է աշխատակցել Բալթիմորի Ջոնս Հոփքինս համալսարանին՝ 1980-1986 թվականներին եղել է այդ համալսարանի համաճարակաբանության բաժնի ավագ գիտաշխատող, 1986-1987 թվականներին՝ համաճարակաբանության հրավիրյալ պրոֆեսոր, 1988 թվականից՝ պրոֆեսոր։ Զբաղեցրել է նաև կարևոր պաշտոններ այդ համալսարանում՝ 1988-1993 թվականներին եղել է համաճարակաբանության բաժնի ղեկավարի տեղակալ, 1993-1994 թվականներին՝ պաշտոնակատար։ 1989-1996 թվականներին ղեկավարել է Ջոնս Հոփքինս համալսարանի հանրային առողջապահության մագիստրոսի կոչում շնորհող ծրագիրը։

Հարություն Արմենյանը 1976-1981 թվականներին աշխատել է Բահրեյնի առողջապահության նախարարությունում, եղել է նրա մասնագիտական չափանիշների և համակարգային վերլուծությունների բաժնի կոորդինատոր։ Արմենյանն ակտիվ հանրային ծառայություններ է մատուցել մասնագիտական ոլորտում, բազում պրոֆեսիոնալ կազմակերպությունների և գիտական ընկերակցությունների անդամ է։ 1981 թվականից Կանխարգելիչ բժշկության ամերիկյան քոլեջի, Համաճարակաբանական միջազգային ընկերակցության անդամ է, 1996 թվականից՝ նաև վերջինիս գործադիր խորհրդի քարտուղարը։ 1986 թվականից ընտրվել է Ջոնս Հոփքինս համալսարանի գիտնականների ընկերակցության անդամ։ 1989 թվականից անդամակցել է Համաճարակաբանության և Համաճարակաբանական հետազոտությունների ամերիկյան ընկերակցություններին։ Իր բեղուն գիտահետազոտական գործունեության համար Հարություն Արմենյանն արժանացել է մի շարք ակադեմիական պարգևների, որոնց ընդարձակ ցանկն ընդգրկում է Հիգիենայի և հանրային առողջապահության միության մրցանակը՝ խորհրդատվական և դասախոսական աշխատանքի համար, Լիբանանի առողջապահության նախարարության պատվոգիրը, Էրնեստ Լիման Սթեբինսի մեդալը կրթության գերազանցության համար՝ շնորհված Հիգիենայի և հանրային առողջապահության դպրոցի կողմից, Բժիշկների ընկերակցության Ալֆա-Օմեգա-Ալֆա պատվավոր մրցանակը, և այլն։ Վերջերս նա արժանացավ Բրիտանական արքայական բժշկական քոլեջի գործակցի կոչմանը։

Հարություն Արմենյանը հեղինակ է հրատարակված բազմաթիվ գիտական աշխատությունների (տասնհինգ գիրք, յոթանասունչորս հոդված), համահեղինակ է նաև տասնութ գիտական գրքի, որոնք նվիրված են համաճարակաբանության, հանրային առողջապահության, կանխարգելիչ և գործնական բժշկության խնդիրներին։ 1989 թվականից հանդիսանում է «Հոդվածներ համաճարակաբանության ոլորտում» պարբերականի գլխավոր խմբագիրը, 1992 թվականից՝ Համաճարակաբանության ամերիկյան ամսագրի խմբագիրներից է։

Հարություն Արմենյանը 1978 թվականից ղեկավարել է մի շարք ծրագրեր տարբեր երկրներում, եղել է Բահրեյնի, ԱՄԷ-ի, Կատարի, Իրաքի, Լիբանանի, Օմանի, Սաուդյան Արաբիայի, Գերմանիայի, Հայաստանի առողջապահության նախարարությունների, ինչպես նաև Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության, ՄԱԿ-ի մանկական հիմնադրամի, Կարմիր խաչի, «Փրկեցեք երեխաներին» կազմակերպությունների խորհրդատու։ Նա հայանպաստ գործունեություն է վարում բազմաթիվ գիտակրթական, մշակութային կազմակերպություններում։ 1981-1986 թվականներին եղել է Համազգային կրթական միության կենտրոնական գործադիր վարչության անդամ։ 1978-1987 թվականներին հանդիսացել է Բեյրութի Կարագյոզյան հիմնադրամի խորհրդի անդամ, 1980-1982 թվականներին՝ Հայ բժիշկների լիբանանյան միության գործադիր խորհրդի անդամ։ 1980-ական թվականներին երեք տարի շարունակ հանդիսացել է Լիբանանյան Ազգային Առաջնորդարանի ղեկավար ժողովի անդամ։

Հիմնվելով հայ եկեղեցու երեք հարյուր տարիների արխիվային նյութերի վրա, համաճարակաբանական ուսումնասիրություններ է իրականացրել 16 երկրների վերաբերյալ։ 1988-1993 թվականներին հայկական հիվանդության և երկրաշարժի ազդեցության հետևանքներին նվիրված հետազոտությունը ընդգրկել է շուրջ 39.000 անձինք։ 1993 թվականից Հայաստանի ազգային առողջապահական ինստիտուտների գիտական խորհրդի անդամ է, 1995 թվականից՝ Հայաստանի հանրային առողջապահության միության պատվավոր նախագահը։ 1994 թվականից եղել է Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի առողջապահական գիտությունների բաժնի դեկան, Առողջապահական ծառայությունների հետազոտման և զարգացման կենտրոնի տնօրեն, 1997-2009 թվականներին՝ նախագահը։

Գեղանկարչություն

Հարություն Արմենյանը նկարել սկսել է Բեյրութում 1976 թվականին՝ Լիբանանի քաղաքացիական պատերազմի օրերին։ Ցուցահանդեսներ է ունեցել Բեյրութում, Լոս Անջելեսում, Երևանում։ 2014 թվականին Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի «Ագեան» ցուցասրահը ներկայացրել է Հարություն Արմենյանի «Երանգներ` Հայաստան և անդին» նկարների ցուցահանդեսը։
