Ամուսնական բռնաբարություն, մեկ ամուսնու կողմից մյուսին առանց համաձայնության սեռական ակտի ստիպումը։ Այն զուգընկերոջ բռնաբարության, ինչպես նաև ընտանեկան բռնության և սեռական բռնության տեսակ է։

Ժամանակին ամուսնական բռնաբարությունը հանդուրժվում էր հասարակության կողմից և անտեսվում օրենքով, սակայն վերջին տասնամյակներում այն հետևողականորեն մերժվում է միջազգային համաձայություններով և հետզհետե քրեականացվում է։ Չնայած սրան, շատ երկրներում ամուսնական բռնաբարությունը շարունակում է լինել օրինական կամ, եթե նույնիսկ արգելվում է օրեքնով, լայնորեն հանդուրժվում է և համարվում ամուսնական արտոնություն։

2006 թ. հետազոտության արդյունքներով ամուսնական բռնաբարությունը կարող է դատականորեն հետապնդվել 104 պետություններում (սրանցից չորսում միայն այն դեպքում, երբ ամուսինները դատականորեն բաժանված են)[1], և 2006 թ. հետո ևս մի քանի պետություն ապաօրինականացրել են այն։ Շատ երկրներում պարզ չի արդյոք ամուսնական բռնաբարությունը կարող է դապարտվել հիմնական բռնաբարության մասին օրենքներով։ Արևելայն Եվրոպայի և Սկանդինավիայի որոշ երկրներ ամուսնական բռնաբարությունը քրեականացրել են մինչև 1970 թ., իսկ Արևմտյան Եվրոպայի և անգլախոս արևմտյան երկրները դա արել են շատ ավելի ուշ՝ 1980-ականներին և 1990-ականներին։ Զարգացված երկրների մեծ մասը այն ապաօրինականացրել են 1990-ականներին և 2000-արականներին։

Այս թեմատիկայով հետազոտական գրականությունը, մանավանդ սրա ընդգրկողականության և հետևանքների ուսումնասիրության ոլորտներում, կարող ընդլայնել ամուսնական բռնաբարություն եզրը՝ ընդգրկելով նաև ամուսնալուծված կամ դատականորեն բաժանված նախքին ամուսիններին և քաղաքացիական ամուսնությամբ ապրող կենակիցներին։ Սակայն պետական օրենքները հաճախ նախքին ամուսինենրի կամ մտերիմ զուգընկերների կողմից բռնաբարությունը տարբերում են ամուսնական բռնաբարությունից և, հետևաբար, օրինականորեն նույնացնում են սրանք անծանոթի կողմից բռնաբարությանը[2]։
