Sorry for writing in English. As Armenian Wikipedia prefers to show the de-facto borders of countries, excluding the areas not under their control, as it can be seen in this link, I propose that Abkhazia and South Ossetia are excluded from the map of Georgia in this article. A similer map can be found here, but I propose that this map is modified and Abkhazia and South Ossetia are shown in white. This might be an example, but the borders of those two states can be shown like international borders. --Seksen iki yüz kırk beş 10:39, 27 Հունիսի 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just two remarks:
  • Armenian Wikipedia does not control any territory, neither Armenian Wikipedians (now having edited an Armenian Wikipedia talk page, you too became an Armenian Wikpedian)
  • There has been indeed a consensus to represent Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh with their de-facto borders, until a legal solution of the conflict in the (hopefully near) future), however there has been no consensus to represent all disputed regions and territories in this way.
If you want that to be done in case of Georgia/Abkhazia/S-Ossetia, please put forward you arguments in favour of your claim. There are two separate articles (Հարավային Օսիա and Աբխազիա) elaborating on the station in both regions, futhermore this article itself deals with their disputed status. Maybe that's all enough for now? --vacio 14:01, 27 Հունիսի 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I understand that this is Armenian Wikipedia, not Wikipedia of Armenia, as it should be, and my proposal is not related to that. However, the case of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh is completely the same. I believe that that map there is justified with a good reason, but the same reason is (should be) valid here, too. My main argument is: Georgian control is absent there and there is conflict is waiting to be solved, and if the case is the same, then why do we need a consensus each time? Is there a valid argument in favour of this? Anyway, otherwise, I am ready to a comprehensive discussion. --Seksen iki yüz kırk beş 18:06, 11 Հուլիսի 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't agree. There are essential differences between the various disputed regions that currently exist. In order to agree on how to represent them, we have to achieve a consensus for each specific region. --vacio 18:50, 11 Հուլիսի 2011 (UTC)[reply]
